Macleans of Coll

The House of Coll is the fourth senior cadet branch of the Clan Maclean. The hereditary line of the Macleans of Coll came to an end in 1882, with the death of John Norman Hector, 18th of Coll. Technically, according to the Coll Charter of 1754, the Chieftainship descended to Maclean of Muck.
